"Delightful surprise on our Michigan road trip, conveniently located just off 196 but very local/independent. The poblano black bean sandwich and chicken Philly were outstanding. Small but fun selection of gift items (hot sauce with angry nun? Take my money!). Other menu items featured local fresh vegetables looked worth a try. Glad we found this place and will be back next year."

"I was staying near by for an extended weekend, and I've come here every day. The food is excellent and the staff are friendly and courteous. Excellent Smash Burger. Outstanding Black Bean burger and chickpea and beet burger too. The pizza with pulled pork and goat cheese was perfection. Get an ice cream flight, it's worth it. Can't wait to come back next season!"

"I'm driving back home to Indiana from grand rapids and wanted a nice local spot to eat and came across this! Nice sandwiches and ice cream selection!!! I got a great lakes classic (turkey) with cole slaw. Im pretty picky on my slaw... their recipe is delicious I'll definitely be back if I'm coming back through this way."

"This place has local flavor, literally. They use home grown organic veggies and herbs in their recipes. Local Michigan ice cream, too! The space is clean and crisp with a cool vintage phone booth near the entry. I loved the margarita pizza and ice cream flight. I didn't have to choose just one flavor! They use broken flakes of otherwise wasted waffle cone to top them. I love that they reduce waste that way. I got friendly and timely service during my visit. Highly recommend this place."

"Although this place is closed for the season they’ve offered ice cream pies for the holidays. They are absolutely delicious! We ordered them for thanksgiving and they were all gone within minutes.. so of course had to order them again for Christmas! They have wonderful customer service, everyone is so nice and always smiling! My family and I have tried a few of their food menu items, which some are very unique! Great tasting sandwiches and wonderful ice cream! Definitely love the fact I live within walking distance from this place."

"This place looks deceiving from the outside but don’t let that fool you! The food is plentiful and well made! The menu has lots of options. We had the fried pickles, cheese curds, and burgers-yummy. They have a shelf of souvenirs and we bought some of them after dinner. The only thing we didn’t try is the ice cream but saw other patrons eating some and they sure didn’t seem unhappy."
